MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 11.45 points to 1,690.67 at 9am.

Volume was 45.1 million lots worth RM14 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 113 to 66.
