Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.19 points to 1,671.09 at 9am.
Volume was 42.74 million lots worth RM19.15 million.
Gainers beat losers 90 to 57.
