Malaysia: Shares open sharply lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened sharply lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 17.27 points to 1,583.04 as at 9.01am.
Volume was 88.3 million lots worth RM42.3 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 356 to 15.
