Malaysia: Shares open slightly higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday (Mar 25) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.97 point or 0.1 per cent to 1,599.94 as at 9.07 am.

Volume was 78.3 million lots worth about RM52.1 million (S$16.7 million). Gainers beat losers 167 to 69.
