Malaysia: Shares open slightly lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices edged lower at the open on Friday (Apr 29) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.60 point or 0.04 per cent to 1,596.80 as at 9.17 am.

    Volume was 247.7 million lots worth about RM129.6 million (S$41.2 million). Gainers beat losers 247 to 152.
