MALAYSIA share prices started trading on higher ground on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.2 points or 0.14 per cent to 1,584.9 as at 9.01am.
Volume traded was 849 million lots worth RM314.5 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 301 to 222.
