    MALAYSIA shares prices started trading on higher ground on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.90 points or 0.37 per cent to 1,588.42 as at 9.09am.

    Volume traded was 592.74 million lots worth RM258.67 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 388 to 180.
