MALAYSIA share prices started trading on higher ground on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.50 points or 0.3 per cent to 1,627.39 as at 9.18am.

Volume traded was 364.28 million lots worth RM119.25 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 304 to 96.
