Malaysia: Shares slump 2.7% on Monday amid political upheaval

MALAYSIA share prices closed sharply lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index sliding 41.14 points to 1,490.06.
Volume was 4 billion lots worth RM3.9 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 1,015 to 138.
