Malaysia: Shares start the day lower

MALAYSIA share prices open lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.57 points to 1,758.57.
Volume was 99.1 million lots worth RM39.8 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 124 to 107.
