MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.48 points or 0.3 per cent to 1,594.64 as at 9.15am.

Volume was about 148 million lots worth RM46.1 million (S$14.9 million). Gainers beat losers 225 to 67.
