Malaysia: Stocks close higher on Monday

    Malaysian shares closed higher on Monday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 7.78 points to 1,677.760.

    Some 1.64 billion lots, valued at RM1.69 billion were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 407 to 378.
