MALAYSIAN shares closed lower on Thursday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping 19.07 points to 1,767.77.
Some 2.56 billion lots, valued at RM2.68 billion were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 1,001 to 64.
