Malaysia: Stocks end the day higher

    Malaysian shares closed higher on Wednesday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 0.53 points to 1,765.87.

    Some 2.73 billion lots, valued at RM5.17 billion were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 501 to 437.
