Malaysia: Stocks end the day lower

    Malaysian shares closed lower on Wednesday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping more than 20 points to 1,665.320.

    Some 2.34 billion lots, valued at RM2.30 billion were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 710 to 279.
