    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 11.64 points at 1,764.16 points.

    Volume was 2.35 billion lots worth RM2.38 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 571 to 309.
