The devastating effects of the Covid-19 pandemic have been, and continue to be, felt far and wide - and football clubs have not emerged unscathed.
The top teams of the world's most popular sport were dealt a hefty blow by the virus outbreak, which knocked 15 per cent off the aggregate enterprise value (EV) of the top 32 clubs in Europe, marking the first decline in years, according to KPMG's annual football club valuation report out on Thursday.
