Shanghai: Shares open flat on Friday

[SHANGHAI] Shanghai stocks were flat on Friday morning, after an official index of manufacturing activity showed little change in June, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.07 per cent, or 2.19 points, to 2,931.80.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.10 per cent, or 2.07 points, to 1,976.31.
Hong Kong markets were closed for a public holiday.
