Shanghai: Stocks up 0.19% in the morning
[SHANGHAI] Shanghai shares rose 0.19 per cent in early trading on Thursday after China cut the value of its yuan currency for a third consecutive day, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 7.52 points to 3,893.84.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.36 per cent, or 8.15 points, to 2,257.33.
