SHARES in Shanghai finished Friday with losses as global markets go into reverse on recession fears, though Chinese traders were lifted by hopes for fresh growth-boosting measures from the government.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.32 per cent or 10.98 points to 3,387.64, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange eased 0.21 per cent or 4.74 points, to 2,219.41.
