Singapore equities end 2.66 points higher

THE benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) did a yo-yo on Thursday, only to cap the session slightly higher on the back of positive Chinese data.
The STI added 2.66 points or 0.08 per cent to end at 3,423.91, after a weak start in the morning.
Turnover on Thursday came in at 2.5 billion worth S$1.5 billion, while losers beat gainers 288 to 158.
China's producer prices came in surprisingly strong in October, while consumer inflation picked up pace pointing towards a robust economy.
