THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) experienced difficulties with its Web services, beginning slightly before the market close on Tuesday evening.

Asked by BT earlier on Tuesday about whether a cyber attack or malicious cause had been ruled out, its spokesperson had said: "There is no indication that our systems were compromised."
