Singapore shares close 0.1% lower on Thursday
SINGAPORE stocks ended lower on Thursday, with the Straits Times Index retreating 2.84 points, or 0.1 per cent to 3,236.26.
Losers outnumbered gainers 201 to 188, after about 1.2 billion shares worth S$1.01 billion changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Disa, which was flat at 0.7 Singapore cent, with 52.6 million shares traded.
Other active index stocks included Genting Singapore which fell 1.9 per cent to S$1.04, and UOB which was down by 1.1 per cent to S$26.85.
