Singapore shares close 2.8 points lower

SHARES on the local bourse fell with the key Straits Times Index retreating 2.8 points or 0.10 per cent to finish at 2,841.19 on Monday.
Some 1.14 billion shares worth S$644 million were traded. Losers outpaced gainers with 214 counters down and 151 counters up.
