Singapore: Shares end higher

SINGAPORE shares end higher on Wednesday.
The Straits Times Index gained 16.41 points to 3,298.36.
Some 1.87 billion shares, valued at S$1.09 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 217 while losers numbered 181.
