Singapore: Shares end lower

    SINGAPORE shares ended 0.26 per cent lower on Wednesday with the Straits Times Index slipping 8.44 points to 3,283.71.

    Some 99.9 million shares, valued at S$1.02 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 195 while losers numbered 219.
