Singapore shares enter afternoon session higher on Tuesday; STI at 3,559.2 up 0.1% on day
SINGAPORE shares entered the afternoon session 0.1 per cent higher with the Straits Times Index up 3.35 points to 3,559.2 as at 1.02pm on Tuesday.
About 1.08 billion shares worth S$784 million in total changed hands as gainers outnumbered losers 181 to 173.
The most actively traded stock was Rowsley, which rose S$0.014 to S$0.131 with 34.1 million shares changing hands.
Other actives included Thai Beverage and Genting Singapore.
Active index stocks included DBS, up S$0.1 or 0.34 per cent at S$29.69; and OCBC Bank shares trading up S$0.1 or 0.75 per cent at S$13.47.
