Singapore shares enter afternoon session lower on Thursday; STI at 3,504.33, down 0.4% on day

SINGAPORE shares entered the afternoon session 0.4 per cent lower with the Straits Times Index down 13.61 points to 3,504.33 as at 1.01pm on Thursday.
About 1.01 billion shares worth S$720 million in total changed hands as losers outnumbered gainers 233 to 120.
The most actively traded stock was Thai Beverage, which traded at S$0.835 with 10.4 million shares changing hands.
Other actives included Golden Agri-Resources and Charisma Energy.
Active index stocks included DBS, down S$0.15 or 0.52 per cent at S$28.55; and OCBC Bank shares trading down S$0.12 or 0.92 per cent at S$12.94.
