SINGAPORE shares entered the break 0.1 per cent lower on Monday, with the Straits Times Index down 2.43 points to 3,379.95 as as at 12.26pm.
About 1.21 billion shares worth S$469 million in total changed hands.
The most actively traded stock was Compact Metal Industries, which rose S$0.01 to S$0.059 with 110.1 million shares changing hands.
Other actives included Metal Component Engineering and Jiutian Chemical.
Losers outnumbered gainers 221 to 138.
