SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Friday, with the Straits Times Index down 2.61points or 0.09 per cent to 2,859.56 as at 9.02am.
UOB and DBS Bank were among the stocks that gained in early-morning trade, while Keppel Corp, Boustead Holdings and CapitaLand were the top losers.
Some 91.5 million shares worth S$108 million changed hands. Losers beat gainers 79 to 56.
