Singapore shares open 4.87 points higher on Friday

SHARES on the Singapore bourse opened higher on Friday with the key Straits Times Index rising 4.87 points to 2,845.8.
Some 100 million shares worth S$86.4 million were done as at 9.01am, with 78 counters up and 41 down.
