SINGAPORE shares opened lower on Thursday with the Straits Times Index down 5.72 points to 3,345.61 as at 9.02am following news that Greece and its creditors broke off talks in Europe without reaching a deal.
This is in line with lower global equities.
A total of 49.8 million shares worth S$66.6 million changed hands, with losers outnumbering gainers 90 to 27.
