SINGAPORE shares opened almost flat on Tuesday amid a lack of inspiration from a bout of lacklustre corporate earnings reports and an anticipation of more debt restructuring by oil and gas players.
At 9.01 am, the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) opened 0.2 points higher at 2,856.88.
This is despite gainers outnumbering losers 65 to 53. Some 58.9 million shares worth S$45.5 million changed hands.
