Singapore: Shares open lower on Friday

    SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Friday with the Straits Times Index down 5.3 points to 3,340.61.

    Volume was 24.2 million shares worth S$50 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 47 to 38.
