SINGAPORE share prices opened higher on Friday with the Straits Times Index up 0.11 points to 2,958.97 as at 9.03am. Wall Street extended its rally overnight to fresh records on hopes US president-elect Donald Trump will ring in tax cuts, deregulation and fiscal stimulus.
Top gainers in early-morning trade included City Developments and SATS.
Some 55.2 million shares worth S$124 million changed hands, with gainers outnumbering losers 75 to 48.
