Singapore: STI opens 6.43 points lower

THE Straits Times Index (STI) opened lower on Wednesday, down 6.43 points or 0.19 per cent to 3,447.61 after Wall Street finished mixed on Tuesday.
The most active stocks out of the gate included CapitaLand - down two cents to S$3.58 - while Singtel fell three cents to S$4.28. Keppel Corp gave up nine cents to S$8.74.
A total of 89.7 million shares worth S$71.7 million had changed hands at about 9.04am. Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 75 to 72.
