Singapore stocks open higher, STI gains 8.5 points to 3,295.93

SINGAPORE stocks opened higher on Monday, with the Straits Times Index gaining 8.5 points to 3,295.93 as at 9.30am.
Gainers outnumbered losers 153 to 69.
A total of 274.4 million shares were traded, with a value of S$242.6 million.
