Singapore stocks: STI resumes afternoon trading at 3,493.11, up 0.7% on the day
SINGAPORE shares entered the afternoon session of trading 0.7 per cent higher on Friday, with the Straits Times Index up 24.5 points to 3,493.11 as at 1.01pm.
About 635 million shares worth S$640 million in total changed hands as gainers outnumbered losers 199 to 132.
The most actively traded stock was Rowsley, which fell S$0.004 to S$0.123 with 80.6 million shares changing hands.
Other actives included Genting Singapore and KrisEnergy.
