    THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday:

    iX Biopharma: 42C The pharmaceutical company on Thursday said it has inked an agreement with China Resources Pharmaceutical Commercial Group Co (CRPCG) for the licensing, supply and distribution of Wafesil, a sublingual sildenafil wafer for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction, in China. This marks the first deal between CRPCG and iX Biopharma following the execution of a strategic cooperation framework agreement announced in April 2021. Shares of iX Biopharma ended flat at 23.5 Singapore cents on Wednesday.

    Sembcorp Industries: U96 The conglomerate has successfully launched a S$675 million sustainability-linked bond (SLB) which was issued a coupon rate of 2.66 per cent. The inaugural SLB was priced through Sembcorp's wholly-owned subsidiary Sembcorp Financial Services, which was anchored by an investment of S$150 million from the International Finance Corporation. Sembcorp shares closed at S$1.89 on Wednesday, up S$0.05 or 2.7 per cent, before the announcement.

    Keppel Corporation: BN4 Its offshore and marine unit on Wednesday announced it has completed the construction of two offshore substations for Danish power company Ørsted, which will contribute to the supply of green power to around one million households in Taiwan. Shares of Keppel Corporation closed S$0.01 or 0.2 per cent higher at S$5.22 on Wednesday, before the announcement.

    Chip Eng Seng Corporation: C29 Its wholly-owned subsidiary, CES Engineering & Construction, has been appointed as the replacement main contractor for the remaining building works to be undertaken for the Build-To-Order housing project at Marsiling Grove in Woodlands. Shares of Chip Eng Seng ended half a Singapore cent or 1.2 per cent higher at 42 cents on Wednesday, before the announcement.
