THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Wednesday (Apr 13):
Singtel, Keppel Corporation and TeleChoice International: Singtel and a unit of Keppel Corporation on Tuesday said they will each divest their respective 50 per cent stakes in Radiance Communications, an info-communications system integrator, to a subsidiary of TeleChoice International. Each seller will pocket S$625,000 from the sale. Singtel shares closed lower by 1.1 per cent at S$2.61, TeleChoice International shares were flat at S$0.14, and Keppel ended down 1.2 per cent to S$6.55 on Tuesday, before the announcement.
ESR-Reit and Ara Logos Logistics Trust (ALog Trust): The manager of ESR-Reit on Tuesday provided an indicative timeline on events taking place till the merger between ESR-Reit and ALog Trust becomes effective. Among others, it expects the court-sanctioned scheme for the merger will be effective on Apr 22, ALog Trust units will stop trading on Apr 19, while ESR-Reit units will begin trading on an "ex-distribution" basis on Apr 20. Units of ESR-Reit and ALog Trust both closed flat at S$0.415 and S$0.825, respectively, on Tuesday, before the announcement.
