THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Sep 23):
Cromwell European Real Estate Investment Trust (Cromwell E-Reit): Its manager said changes to Dutch tax regime will not affect the Reit’s distributable income. The clarification comes 2 days after the Dutch government’s budget day announcement on its tax policy intentions to subject Dutch fiscal investment institutions to Dutch corporate income tax starting Jan 1, 2024. Units of the Reit trading in Singapore dollars closed up 0.4 per cent or S$0.01 at S$2.79 before the announcement on Thursday, while units trading in euros closed up 2 per cent or 0.04 euro at 2.01 euros.
OxPay Financial : In response to queries by the Singapore Exchange (SGX), the payment services company on Thursday said it previously did not announce a tribunal’s order for the company to pay its former chief executive and chief financial officer more than S$77,000 for wrongful dismissal, as the claim amount constituted “only 1.4 per cent of the group’s total equity”. Shares of OxPay closed 1.5 per cent or S$0.002 higher at S$0.134, before the news.
