THE following listed companies made material announcements before the Singapore market opened on Monday:
Frasers Centrepoint: Frasers Centrepoint (FCL) has appointed a new chief executive to take over from Lim Ee Seng, after the latter's extended service agreement with the company ends on Sept 30, 2016. FCL said in a Singapore Exchange announcement on Monday morning that its board of directors has accepted the recommendation of the nominating committee and approved the appointment of Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi as chief executive from Oct 1, 2016.
Zhongxin Fruit and Juice: Catalist-listed fruit juice manufacturer Zhongxin Fruit and Juice on Sunday said that its lead non-executive independent director Ngiam Zee Moey is being interviewed by the Commercial Affairs Department of the Singapore Police Force.
Hwa Hong: Hwa Hong Corporation has completed the acquisition through a wholly-owned subsidiary 50 per cent of a nominee company that has invested £24.8 million (S$47.4 million) in a freehold property in London's Clerkenwell area.
