Stocks to watch: Keppel DC Reit, Spackman

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday (Jun 21):
Keppel DC Reit : The data centre real estate investment trust (Reit) has entered into conditional transactions to acquire 2 data centres in Guangdong, China, for a total price of about 1.6 billion yuan (S$338.3 million), according to a bourse filing on Monday. These acquisitions are expected to be accretive to the Reit’s distribution per unit. Units of Keppel DC Reit closed at S$1.91, down 2.1 per cent or S$0.04, on Monday before the announcement.
Spackman : Three of the entertainment group’s directors have handed in their resignations, and will leave the company either on Jul 20 or once a “suitable replacement” for their respective roles have been found, whichever is earlier, the company announced in a series of regulatory filings on Monday evening. It said that they were leaving to explore or devote more time to “other corporate endeavours”, and to allow the company to refresh its board and improve its capabilities and diversity. The counter closed flat at S$0.005 on Monday.
