Stocks to watch: Mapletree Industrial Trust, Nio, Top Glove, United Hampshire US Reit
THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Jun 10):
Mapletree Industrial Trust : ME8U 0% (MIT): The manager of the real estate investment trust (Reit) said on Friday it has divested a data centre property in Southfield, Michigan, US, for a proposed sale price of US$10 million. The manager noted that the occupancy rate of the data centre remained at 74.3 per cent since it was acquired in 2017, and expects it would be difficult to lease out the remaining space in the near term. MIT closed flat at S$2.53 on Thursday.
Nio : NIO 0%: The Chinese electric vehicle maker registered 1.8 billion yuan (S$370 million) in losses for the first quarter of 2022, narrowing 62.6 per cent year on year, according to its financial results released on Thursday. Nio closed 0.1 per cent or US$0.03 lower at US$20.33 on Thursday, before the announcement.
