    THE following company saw new developments that may affect trading of its securities on Thursday (Oct 6): 

    Sats : Addressing the group’s potential rights issue for its proposed acquisition of Worldwide Flight Services, its chief executive highlighted the need to reduce the size of the rights issue, in an interview with The Business Times. He also emphasised that this mode of fundraising was just one of four funding sources for the deal. Shares of Sats closed 1.3 per cent or S$0.04 lower at S$2.95 on Wednesday. 

    Trading halt: Singapore-based healthcare provider Asian Healthcare Specialists called for a trading halt early on Thursday, pending the release of an announcement. It last traded at S$0.16 on Wednesday.
