    THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday (Sep 22):

    SATS : The inflight caterer and ground handler said on Wednesday that it was in discussions to acquire air cargo handler Worldwide Flight Services, although no definitive terms or formal legal documentation, including the purchase consideration, have been agreed upon. Shares of SATS last traded at S$4.09 on Wednesday, up S$0.03 or 0.7 per cent.

    Digital Core Reit (DC Reit): The data centre play has entered into an agreement on Thursday to purchase interest stakes in data centres in both Dallas, Texas and Frankfurt, Germany. The deal is, however, pending approval from its unitholders and will depend on whether an equity fundraising by the Reit goes through. Units of DC Reit were trading at S$0.795, down 0.6 per cent or S$0.005, as at 9.42 am on Thursday.
