SPH Reit : The real estate investment trust (Reit) on Thursday posted a 5.1 per cent increase in distribution per unit to 1.45 Singapore cents for the third quarter ended May 31, 2022. Revenue rose 0.9 per cent on-year, which its manager attributed to high Covid-19 vaccination rates and the easing of safe distancing measures that helped to stabilise portfolio performance. Prior to the business update, units of SPH Reit rose 2.3 per cent or S$0.02 to close at S$0.905.
Keppel Corporation : The environmental technology and infrastructure unit of its infrastructure arm, Keppel Seghers, is partnering the National Environment Agency to study the feasibility of carbon capture in local waste-to-energy (WTE) plants. This could help both parties to achieve net-zero emissions in their operations, and potentially net negative emissions, according to the group. Keppel Corp ended up 1.2 per cent or S$0.08 at S$6.53 on Thursday, before the announcement was made.
