Stocks to watch: ST Engineering, ComfortDelGro, KIT, mm2 Asia

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday (Jul 14):
ST Engineering : The defence and engineering group is venturing into the data centre cooling market with the launch of a cooling technology that supposedly helps operators in tropical climates achieve 20 per cent in energy savings, which translates to about S$104 per kilowatt-hour of heat load every year. ST Engineering closed 0.2 per cent or S$0.01 lower at S$4.09 on Wednesday, after the announcement was made.
ComfortDelGro : The mainboard-listed transport operator is acquiring Irish coach operator GoBus for 12 million euros (S$17 million), a move that will catapult it to be the third-largest inter-city coach operator in the country. Through the acquisition, ComfortDelGro will get a fleet of 31 buses and 3 inter-city coach routes, namely the Galway-Dublin Express, the Cork-Dublin Express and the Galway-Ballina Express. ComfortDelGro closed unchanged at S$1.42 on Wednesday, before the announcement was made.
