[TOKYO] Tokyo's benchmark stock index ended higher on Thursday, recouping all the losses it suffered after Britain's vote last month to exit the EU pummelled world financial markets.
The Nikkei 225 climbed 0.95 per cent, or 154.46 points, to close at 16,385.89, its fourth winning session in a row, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares tacked on 0.84 per cent, or 10.90 points, to 1,311.16.
