TOKYO’S key Nikkei index opened higher on Monday following Wall Street rallies on hopes for slower interest rate hikes.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 0.13 per cent, or 36.37 points, at 28,299.94 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was down 0.18 per cent, or 3.60 points, at 1,974.16. AFP
